The Long Dark Repair Axe?

You cannot repair information technology per se. Although you can acuminate it with a whetstone.

nowadays you tin only repair knives and hatchets past using a whetstone. in your case, when it's ruined you cannot repair information technology. you can only harvest information technology, nothing else.

the same for the hunting rifle repairing. you can repair it past using a rifle cleaning kit.

Live and learn. There are other hatchets to be found and you tin can craft one at the Riken in DP. Whetstones are at present in game gold. Apply them wisely. If you take several knives and hatchet, employ them til they break, and then keep the last ones sharpened equally long as you can with the whetstones. Later that, the just recourse is forged ones, and they aren't the best and can't exist reparired or sharpened

I'm fine with the whetstone mechanic, however they wearable out so fast it'due south laughable. They should last at least 2-iii times longer. I assume it will be adjusted...or at to the lowest degree I really hope and then. :)
